Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me sharing this. I wrote a little blog with an overview of the Charlie Unwin Online Seminar. I am not competing at the moment but this seminar was really interesting and useful. I haven't gone into too much detail as there is an opportunity to pay for the full content on his website but have shared what I thought was useful.

I would really recommend that anyone interested in improving their performance looks at this area. I was sceptical until I went to a work shop a few years ago after a disastrous Regionals where we both fell apart under the pressure. Something that had never happened before.

I attended the seminar too and found it excellent. There were a few golden nuggets that were lightbulb moments for me. I’ve already been practicing visualisation and will put it to the test in competition at the weekend!

Your write-up is a great summary, thank you for sharing.

Thanks @Jiffy that means a lot. Am fairly new to blogging but getting some good feedback.

Totally agree about the seminar. Having Anna really helped with getting the perspective of applying the theory to what we want to achieve. I can't wait to get started when I get chance.

Thank you for that.

I remember riding a Very Hairy Pony at a dressage competition and looking round at all the super duper dressage horses doing their stuff in the warm-up. "What am I doing here? This is just a laugh We'll come bottom."

In the end I was amazed to be 3rd out of about 20 odd. "So what happened to everyone else?" I asked the pony's owner. She said that they all fell apart as they went into the arena. One horse started shaking its head up and down (not in the warm up), and generally many, many tales of woe which must be down to tension and stage fright either from rider or horse, or both.
