Mercedes for towing?

I am looking at automatic ML270 CDI for towing two horses. Does anyone have any experience of them - good or bad? Thank you

I had an ML350 it was fab to tow with, very juicy though! My dad has an ML270 auto he says that's fab too!

We used to tow with an ML270
Drove up and down the country competing and it was absolutely fab!

Just a different view , we've just luckily got rid of ours ... Was fantastic to tow with couldn't tell you had a trailer behind you . But constant problems with fuel injectors and perishing pipes made it very expensive :-( the garages we took it to all commented that they are expensive when go wrong and see quite a few with similar problems and turbo issues .

I had mine for 7 years and loved it, didn't know I had a trailer on it. Then got a disco and hated it, turning circle awful and no power. Got a Merc 350 a year ago and love it. It is a blumatic so fuel consumption better. Find a good local garage rather than Mercedes though Or it will cost a lot. I tow 2 with an Ifor Williams 511.

Ours is now 12 years old and mum is determined to drive it until it dies! She loves it that much!

I love my ml350 heavy on juice but the way it goes makes up for that!

Hubby has an ML350 and I absolutely hate it. Each to their own ..... Not for me ....
