Hi all
As the event season is over for us had my second outing at BD today. I was totally mad and having agreed with work I would be in at 10am agreed to go first in one ring and second in the other
6am start to plait, dont plait the day before
she rubs her mane
At Merrist by 7:45 and start to warm up, had a bitting clinic the week before so in my new myler mullen mouth hanging cheek, well she was a cow either the early start or the bit, who knows with Saf
My teacher/trainer came with me (she is fantastic and sooooo kind) and when I was loosing it told me to walk halt flex breathe and carry on
I really was at boiling point as Saf was being a cow.
Went in for the first test Nov 25 and as the bell went proceded and she did a huge spook just before A at the large flowers so I stood, took a deep breathe circled away and then started, felt horrid throughout the test and came out really dispondent
Trainer then made me shoulder in to canter and back to shoulder in to get her off the left shoulder and straight back in for the second test, as the first rider did not turn up was first in both rings
Well this test Nov 32 felt better although solid through the right rein and falling in through the left shoulder arrgh
Straight back to the lorry, load, back to yard, dump poor Saf with the girls and straight to work and somehow managed to bathe and get to work on time
Bless dad drove back later to get my sheets and rang me at work
Nov 25 scored 62.40% and Nov score 63.91% so better than I thought
and 4 more points
Have more unafil dressage tomorrow, trying to bore her with the dressage
Thanks for reading x
