The boys are awfully tired from their night flight last night...
I've borrowed Ru back for a fancy dress in harness class next weekend, so reminded him what a carriage is- he was spot on. He's in a Myler combination bit that he likes, after a summer in a hackamore we've found something that works! Stella (his loaner) is schooling him back up in it, and has started him over fences- we're aiming for a course of fences by the summer which is a HUGE thing for Ru! He's happy, she's happy and I'm happy
So here he is-
And my main man- who has been started over dinky jumps this week so when we had our Christmas-jumper-to-the-pub ride yesterday, he's been popping into canter and flying over the little sleepers on the bridleway with feet to spare... And has found that he can do a show jumper canter (he was asked to trot up a hill but it was such a lovely bouncy collected canter that we cantered instead
) so has clearly been glued to Olympia on catch up when I'm not there!
Anyway- here he is!
