Has anyone tried Merry People boots? They're all over my instagram and facebook feeds and they sound good but they're pricey and I never really trust social media campaigns like the one they're waging at the moment. I'm thinking the ankle boots for walking the dog rather than proper wellies. It's the arch support I like the sound of, I've never found a pair of wellies that don't wreck my feet.

I buy orthotics from amazon (basic low profile ones) and put them in all my shoes / boots / wellies etc. Some are full length and I take an insole layer out of shoe. Some are 1/2 or 3/4 length and go on top of insole

A friend has a pair of those ankle boots and loves them! I also love my shirt muck boots but the merry people ones look lovely.

I have plantar fasciitis so have so many sets of insoles but I have very thick (for want of a better word) feet (as in top to bottom) and can’t find a pair of wellies that allow me to put any insoles of a decent thickness in them, even if they have soles I can take out (and many don’t even have that). My Aigles allow for a heel lift insole and they’re great for mucking out but any sort of arch support cuts off the blood supply to my tiles. Walking any decent distance (as is required daily with my hyperactive cockerpoo) leaves my feet aching like an achy thing and I never have a chance to rest them even for a day or two.

I had a pair a few years ago. Super comfy! I was tough on them so eventually one started to leak (as all my boots do, always the left one 😕). I do want to get another pair soon.

I have got a pair of the Tully boots (the chunky ones) and they are super comfy. The colour I wanted was out of stock and I messaged them and they responded really quickly to tell me they weren't restocking that colour. They were comfy from the start, easy to get on and off and look cute :)
