Mess rabbits have made in 1 of my fields !

Now you think rabbits in a muck heap is bad ...... here is the rabbit poo in 1 of my fields that i found last week when our snow melted , thousands of rabbits come down off the moors here in winter hence this mess ! at night i watch the cctv in my stables and often there are rabbits munching the hay along side my horse !!!

Hey, you should think yourself lucky. Rabbit poo is one of the best fertilisers there is - it's got a good nitrogen (I think) content. If rabbits were the size of horses, then pound for pound, rabbit poo would be far more popular than horse manure as a fertiliser!
 
The poo doesn't bother me, but as ahorse owner, I know the holes they dig can be lethal! Unfortunately they are too good at killing the foxes round here and the rabbit population has exploded.
 
I was walking along an embankment chatting to a friend when I suddenly disappeared. The ground had given way and I'd fallen down a rabbit hole, or into a rabbit warren to be precise. I luckily got away with a sprained ankle but I could so easily have broken a leg or two!!
