I use them and I'm only 22 so I like to think I'm not quite at the fossil stage just yet!
I was taught about them and their uses at a very young age in the Pony Club and even before that, I remember by Mum telling me about their uses and the correct way to use them. I use them to clean my dandy brushes so whether pony is grass kept or not, I'm quite surprised the child wasn't aware of them and their uses. I guess times change very quickly and what is commonly used over one duration is not in the next.
