Methocarbamol - muscle relaxant

Hi = anyone has any experience with the methocarbamol muscle relaxant to be given intravenously? My vet has recommended this for my senior TB mare who has recently acquired a lot of stiffness issues. thanks

Did the vet say what was causing the stiffness?

I know someone on the PSSM Facebook forum has had robaxim (same stuff) prescribed to see whether it will help with her horses muscular stiffness. I was going to speak to my vet about using it on mine.

No idea if successful yet but can ask!
