Not sure about a vetinary product but the human version is cheap. Been around for a long time.

I had some for my 8yo last year for dressings for his foot (after keratoma surgery) according to my invoices, it was £11.74 for 100ml.

That’s about right for a bottle of metronidazole, I would get it via prescription from the chemist and it wasn’t much below that 3 years ago
