MFS B'Royal

These were also pictures I took of our yearling colt MFS B'Royal (Cheeky to his friends) that I took last weekend. He is by Royal Geneve out of Octavia B (very closely bred to Opportunity B).

He has great jumping blood, including Silvio II, Sandro, Ahorn Z, Alme Z, Caletto II and Nimmerdor.........just a few to name........

........ He has all the right blood to make a good showjumper and had a very natural eye for his distances...............

This was the first time "Cheeky" had seen any pole in his life and he thoroughly loved it........in fact we just stood and he kept on going round us.............popped him over a handful and then we finished as he was SUCH a good boy......... took it all in his stride, ate his feed and then went out to the field again and wondered what all the fuss was about.........

It will probably be another year or so before he sees another fence again........we dont do much with them but like to see what talent they have at a young age....

He has the most GORGEOUS flaxen tail.............its the first thing that everyone notices about him.........

Could not have been happier with him, he is such a doll to work with...........

He reminds us very much on his dad, especially his gorgeous head......

You will also notice my wonderful dog Sharon is always in the background as well.........as we say.......there is never a show without Punch..........LOL

She likes to keep an eye on proceedings..........

Naturally these pictures are not up to Opie's standards..............

Must go and invest in a new lens..........

Sharon does sem to get herself in those pics doesn.t she! Remind me is this the lad we saw at you moms? Love the expression in pic 5! and the tail is awsome, where does that come from?

Hils its a VERY long story

!!! The upshot is that we kept him......... We have not advertised him barring our own website. He is just the spit of his dad in his looks and also has his temperament! He is still entire but has a fabulous temperament......quite a joy to work with in all ways. We are not too fussed if he goes or not (especially after seeing him last weekend

), but it would have to be to a very good home.....

LOL..........yes Opie, as you well know, Sharon does like to get in on the pictures.....ha ha ha.......

This was the lad you saw at my mums next to the old stallion.......scrubs up quite well......ha ha ha ha............

I just love his tail..............have no idea but I am guessing it comes from Geneve. Geneve produced a colt in Ireland last year that was chesnut with an almost white mane and tail, and that was off a Gribaldi mare.

You should tell me..........you are the colour genius........

wasn't sure, hadn't even noticed his tail..

but it was such a dull day

and were all so focused on keeping him on his toes and away from the gate, he looked charming even when he wasn't all scrubbed up and plaited.

It was dull when I took the above pictures........granted not quite as bad as when you were up to see them all. Yeah, once a nice looking lad.......always a nice looking lad........

And yes we DO have some sun!! Wonders will never cease!!

Aww thanks folks for your lovely comments..........I dont blow up the horses that much if I can help it, but B'Royal is just a wee star to us. Dawn the other girl in the picture (who has also purchased two horses from us) could not believe how good he was for a yearling.........

Oh Gosh - if I am totally honest with you I just welled up a bit, he really does remind me of Geneve. He is stunning, a real credit to you.

Aww Weezy........thank you sooo much................Geneve really did touch a lot of hearts in his short time with us..........................we are just so very fortunate to have some excellent stock by him around

. We still miss him terribly if the truth be known.............doubt we will ever fully get over losing him.......

im sure royal will be a assett to anyone ive only just realised that ive made a mistake zilvia and royal are full brother and sister not half DURR not sure what planet i was on that night when i was tapping away
