And about time! Also encouraging that the ground jury has been reprimanded...........absolutely beyond belief that he wasn't disqualified there and then! Sceptical as I am, I would hope the judges at a small unaffiliated competition would have enough gumption to disqualify a competitor for this behaviour, never mind at FEI level.

I have seen people get called to the judges box for misuse of the whip, never seen them disqualified though!

Sets such a bad example to other riders - especially since he was not sanctioned immediately at the event.
