Michael Peace books

Not sure of price, try looking on Amazon to see if they're on there.

I have one of his books, seems to be fairly common sense, eg. build things up gradually but some good ideas that you might not nessecarily come up with. Think they also give some insight into horse psychology which is always usefull (or if they don't buy a book on this too as it should help). Worth a try.

Anyone know how much they are as no price on their website ?
Would you recommend them for helping with spooky horse ?

You can get them from amazon or e.bay cheaper than from the website which would be £24.99 for hardback and signed copies. Paperbacks are now out at £12.99. The 100% Horse is best for spooky horses while Think Like Your Horse is an over all view on the philosophy and the best one to start with.

Have a look on thebookdepository.co.uk too. 100% horse is £8.71 but can't find Think like your horse.
His books are OK. A billion times cheaper than sending your horse to him!! The books don't give you step by step instructions.

I reserved Michael Peace's books with my Public Library and got them three days later. Very easy to read, plenty of common sense and a fantastic attitude to handling horses.

The books are only meant to get you thinking about how you are around your horse. I have had e.mails from around the world to say that what is in the books works. MP just said 'that is why he put it in the books, because it works'. Don't look for a step by step account of 'how to do' if you stop to think what you should do next the horse will know you don't know and fill in the gaps.

I'm sorry, I wasn't saying that the books SHOULD have step by step instructions but just stating that there are no step by step instructions as that is what some people look for. I have spoken to people who are only looking for a comprehensive guide to what to do and how to do it. My answers to these people have been along the same lines as your answer to me.
Michael is a very talented horseman and his books have been very useful to me :)

There is no need to apologize, I did not want to sound 'chippy'.

Think Like Your Horse' has a lifetime of experience in it and has sold very well, it came out in 2000. I think it might be time for a new one, but I don't think MP would change any of the philosophy just update the photo's and case history's.
