Michael Whitaker wins on his return to international competition

With his suspension now lifted, Michael is at the Syracuse International, New York and won the Fancy Dress Top Score yesterday with Udokus.

The World Cup Qualifier is tonight but of course will be late because of the time difference between GB and there (I think they are 4 hrs behind us at present).

Michael & Wonami van den Aard had the last fence down in the WCQ and finished 17th, but is one of the 7 riders qualified for the show's other feature event. The times below are East Coast and they are now 5 hours behind GMT, as their daylight saving changed last night.

Michael was 4th in the Sporthorse Cup. It was won by Ireland's Darragh Kenny, who also won the World Cup qualifier.
