Michael Whitaker's Mane

Did anyone notice his horse's mane and tail last night in the Puissance? Really long and scruffy. Just didn't look right.......!

Yup - I was there on Thurs k8_doran and couldn't help thinking how poor and miserable the pulled manes on the SJ's looked. Def not how a horse is supposed to be!

It may have been long but it was immacualtely clean and swishy so it doesnt bother me!

As for cyberspace's - I really liked it. Think he is a stunning horse.

That's what I wondered - quite a few had pulled tail which were growing out and alot didn't have pulled tails at all.

I partic noticed Ellen Whitaker's grey horse (in the puissance) the top of its tail was a bit of a mess really.

But I did like Cyberspace's mane

No sorry, but mane falling on both sides particularly for Olympia is not right!! Put some plaits in or sort it out. Totillas wouldnt have created the same impression with mane blowing all over the place. Those past years of tack and turn out are ingrained in me I'm afraid!
What about Ellen Whitaker's horse? That was an exciting ride

I think that Cyberspace is a tricky horse - and his temperament means that he appreciates being left well alone. If he's a happier animal for not having a pulled or plaited main, who are we to argue?

Oh dear, I noticed Cyberspace's mane and thought 'oh, it looks like Murphy's mane'! I like it like though, and I will admit that I pull Murphy's mane short just to make it fire up in the air - even worse, it bleaches in the sun so not only does his mane stick up and fall on both sides, it also looks highlighted!
