Micklem Bridle - Any Experiences of Using One?

Given that the Dizz can't jump, dressage, etc., I'm contemplating trying bitless again; also wondering if she would be happier with the Micklem bridle's style.

Soooooooooooooo, any experiences/thoughts?
 
I bought one for my new horse. Its really helped actually, she used to lean and flick her nose up with the flash snaffle bridle she came with. Much improved with this bridle. Good quality and looks lovely on.

Sorry, can't offer any advice on them but I'd be really interested to see what people think of them. I am considering other options for my TB who is very fussy with her mouth and head.
 
I have one, I really like it. I found the cross over / strong bitless was a bit slow to release the pressure (but also found that with the dr cooks). I use it as a lunge cavesson and use the sidepull / mild bitless bridle for working my horse in hand and also as a normal bitted bridle have never tried the scawbrig / medium bitless option.

My only complaint with it is the quality of the leather is a bit poor for the money. The quality of the stitching and the design is very good but the leather is a bit stiff.
 
My mare was really fussy in her mouth and would never accept a contact. Having tried every bit/noseband under the sun, i finally tried a Micklem and have never looked back. It keeps the bit very still in the mouth and encourages a secure contact. My instructor can't believe the difference! Having said that, I do know people who have no success with them at all........
I think the leather is very good quality but the sizings come up small.
 
I have used a micklem bridle on my mare for the last 2 years. I love it but do tend to use it with a bit. I do go bit less sometimes but only if hacking on my own as she tends to get very excited in company. I find the quality of the leather fine and it still looks great after being used 4-6 times a week. My mare is 15hh but needed a cob size as they come up big!
