Just wondering about the Micklem. Am interested to know if anyone has used one, why they bought it, did it solve your problem?

Any comments positive and negative with reasons would be fab!

I have one. Carefree girl recommend it to me. I didn't have any problems as such, but I have noticed he seems more comfortable in it. I just liked the idea of them being more comfortable for the horse and it fits perfectly whereas I struggled between a full/cob in normal bridles.

I have one. My trainer suggested it as an alternative to a flash noseband, and my horse seems very comfortable in it.

ETA: I know it's USDF legal as we've competed in it, and I believe it's FEI legal. Have not joined BD yet, so no idea if they have a stance on it!

I use one a lot it's very good when you want to from lunging to rideing with as little fuss as possible I love it for riding and leading as they are very comfy for the led horse .
I have one horse who had a tooth removed and it was marvellous while it was all settling down .
It's a useful thing I would not do without.

bought Rio one as he always looked really tense in the jaw but he has really relaxed since having it on and seems much happier in it :) i was in a tack shop that was closing down and picked it up for £40 so i wasnt complaining (mines the multi bridle that can be used for lunging too) :)
