Micklem Bridle Large Bit Rings??

I've just ordered a bit (neue shule) with 70mm bit rings and am now panicking that the rings will be too big to use with a Micklem bridle (without the extra bit clips or the flash strap thing-don't wanna use those parts)?

Does anyone use a Micklem bridle with large bit rings?
Are they any good? Worth the money?
