Micklem bridle rubbing my horses ears...anyone had this?

So annoying.

Anyone else had this issue? He recently had his bit changed to a universal, could the poll pressure be doing it?

Not had this, with mine or others. could it be too small or the browband too small pulling it forward onto the ears?

Not the ears but on the nose with the bitless setup. The leather is also inadequate but I like it despite the above I just wish it was priced according to the leather used.

I thought about the browband so I've put a bigger one on...I could make it tighter on the top strap, so that it pulls it off the ears but I don't know whether its OK to have it tight around her jaw?

The leather is rubbish, you are right...I could get some fluff but i don't really want to go there...

I did, I thought that was the answer.. it doesn't look like it touches the spots that are rubbing...strange..

It didn't actually rub but I felt the headpiece was uncomfortable for her - she has very big ears. I bought a cheap comfort/padded headpiece, took off the squidgy padding underneath from the cheap one and glued it under the Micklem one. This combined witha bigger browband suited her majesty better - no more issue - she was occasionally shaking her ears.
