Micklem bridles

Has anyone had any issues with their horse in a Micklem. Having borrowed one and been told my horse looked so much more relaxed and swinging through her back. I purchased one. Have ridden in this for 3 weeks and the last week she has been throwing her head around, not going forwardand getting fixed in her neck. Not sure whether to perceiver with the bridle and look for other reasons for the behaviour or change the bridle back first.

Is the bridle fitted correctly?

If you try the old bridle does she do the same thing?

If she was fine in it for a fortnight and the behaviour suddenly changed, I would assume it was something else rather than the bridle.

My youngster hated it, fought against it and did a lot of head tossing. Fine in her normal snaffle bridle.

Have you tried loosening the noseband? My lad is usually fine in his but if I do the noseband up one extra hole he has head shakes - this is even with me being able to fit 2 fingers in it.
