Right here we go..........

Had this years foals micro-chipped....before applying for passport, we usually go with the WPCS and apply for part bred registration, then have the passports overstamped with any other societies they are eligable for.........

This year things have changed.....we got registration forms for part bred welsh registration off the trade stand at Cheshire county, middle of June....( because we where sick of waiting for the wpcs to send us forms directly from their office.....weeks!!!!?) so got all forms filled in and foals microchipped....

Sent application for part bred passports only for the welsh to send us the application forms back saying our foals are not chipped???????? and the forms we have used are no longer valid and we have to have the foals chipped with chips supplied by the WPCS??????????????????????????????????????????

So.......we now have to get new forms.....have the vet out again to do 7 foals ID forms which costs £10.00 each as well as call out.................................

I wonder what would happen if you had a pure bred foal micro chipped with your vet and not them.......would they refuse the pure breds application too??????

God Im so annoyed......good job we can go with 'another' society too..........( wpcs will over stamp the another societys passport with a micro chip number given by the vet etc so I cant see the difference??????)

Just means wpcs will be getting less money off us now, they will be only getting overstamping fee instead of full application for passport fee.......

So just check with societies who you have to have your foals micro chipped with first before you go and get them micro chipped, because you might have to buy 'THEIR' chips ? what a load of TOSH......
