Microchip and insurance discounts??.

I have just been going through Flints paperwork putting his dental paperwork away and came across his Microchip papers.I know you can get a discount on your horse insurance if they are freezemarked but can/do you if they are Microchipped??.Flint has been chipped since he was 18 months when he was gelded.Thanks

My insurance wouldn't give me a discount even though my horse was microchipped, in fact they charged me for altering his insurance! They told me freezemarks don't give a discount either.
I'm with equestrian direct by the way.

im with scotish equestrian and they didnt say anything about a discount because my horse is micro chipped... hes not freeze marked but i dont think they discount this either.
