Looking for some anti theft 'these horses are microchipped signs' can anyone tell me where to get them. I tried pet-id and pet-log and they dont seem to have them. And ebay doesnt have the one I want. I would like some of the ones with yellow plastic. Thanks

I didn't know they had such a thing - have you checked on ebay? Why don't you just buy some 'these horses are freezemarked signs' instead from Farmkey and paint their rugs with a made up freezemark number?

To be honest I would never bother with microchipping. It is not a visible deterrent and most auction houses and slaughter houses don't have the scanners to bother scanning the horses that come through anyway even though they are meant to.

I've always had horses freezemarked, a visible deterrent to any would be theives, and with a recovery rate of 97% against mircrochipping which is neglible.

I think they do them on the farmkey or freezemark website or could you make your own signs and have them laminated to protect from the weather.

mine are both micro chipped and freeze branded, however these can still be changed as can chips be dug out. Just wanted the signs to be put up on the field. I remember on my old livery there were microchipping signs just cant find them anywhere.
