Microchipping Cost

So now that the Eventing season is over I thought I would head over to the dark side and do some BS over the winter. Just filling out the registration and I now realise all newly registered horses need to be microchipped!!! Mines isn't. Just wonder what the cost of this is to decide if it's worth the cost on top of BS fees!

The actual microchipping isn't very expensive, off the top of my head I think it's about £20 - however you need to factor in your Vet's call out fee, unless you can take your horse to them?

You could probably still compete on a day ticket if you weren't going to do that much?

There's no central register of chips so they can't check the number anyway. Just saying
