I had a mare and a gelding m/chipped on tuesday. They weren't ridden tues or wed, but are now back to being ridden.
I'm not sure if you should wait any period of time as I forgot to ask, but thought they may have a sore crest. Mare had a swelling at insertion site which has now reduced since being ridden and encouraged to stretch.
Leaving them for a couple of days was just my preference.
