So new horsie has microchip to read temperature ?! It also is registered with owners details. The lady i bought her off didnt have any company details who did it - her vet did it she said,and not sure what company she would be registered with - So her microchip starts with 98514

Also has anyone ever heard of a temperature microchip? - I hadnt, lady said she had it done as horse funny about having thermostat up bum.
 
I know very odd! - Bit useless though as an owner wanting to know her temp without anything to scan it with.

I have googled these microchips and they do read temp as well as owner details but can be registered with any if the companies - if no-one can shed any light will ask my vets if they know. If not will have to contact prev owner vets see if they know
 
I just had a look for you via the web as I'm bored at work!!- they are new to me!- if you search the 98514 code it comes up as a "Biothermo" microchip which do read an animals temperature, they do have a code of 98514, and one of the main companies that supply or make them (i'm not sure of which) is Identichip- so if you google Identichip they may be able to help you I'm guessing!
