Trying to find someone who sells micronised linseed in Shropshire, preferably Telford area? Called around my local feed stores (TFM, Albrighton Feeds) and they're yet to get back to me about it.

Also wondering what sort of price I'd be expecting to pay for a bag, and is it worth buying the micronised linseed in terms of effect and price as opposed to linseed oil?

Thanks:D

I'm in your area and couldn't find anyone. Had charnwood linseed recommended to me so ordered it on line from jgw titmuss (worked out cheaper) and had it in 48 hours. I've never used linseed oil so don't know how it differs. I've only being using it for 2 weeks and have yet to see a difference

I get mine from Charnwood or Titmus, it is really hard to source locally. I haven't used linseed oil but I suspect it may not be anywhere near as palatable, or economical TBH, a bag of micronised lasts my two poor doers several weeks.
If you can persuade someone local to stock it let us know - would be good to save the postage costs.

thanks for the replies, might end up having to get it posted then:( would have thought TFM would be willing to order it in though, they ought to get quite a few people asking about it?

I've emailed Wynnstay - they could buy it at a discount by the pallet load, and with dozens of stores I'm sure they would sell it. I'll post on here when I get a response.

Just been to Wynnstay and they are getting a couple of bags in for me. No idea of the price but I said it would have to be under £25 to make it worth while for me. If anyone wants one, go into the Newport branch and ask them, I only just bought one. If we create the demand I'm sure they will fill it.
Or ask at your local branch, let them see how wide the demand is.
