Micronised Linseed to laminitic and can be fizzy horse

Does anyone know if it safe to feed this to a 35 year old horse that had lami approx 5 years ago not since, that can be fizzy I don't need any energy in that way ! He could do with putting a little weight on but I'm keeping in mind the grass will start to come through, he is muzzled when turned out. I was a little worried about the protein level seems high ?

You should have no trouble in feeding it to your pony.

Fed my horse on it who has had laminitis before and he is really sharp/lively. He did brilliant on it and no change in attitude other than looking amazing!

I feed it to my laminitic pony with no problems.

That would not concern me. I only feed between 50-100g a day and it's fab, never brought on a negative change in attitude.
