Micronized Linseed- Does anyone else's horse react to it?

A few weeks ago I changed my horse's feed from Equi-Jewel to Micronized Linseed and now his coat is dull and very scurfy. Could this be the Linseed, as nothing else has been changed?? I have ordered more Equi-Jewel now as I can't think of anything that would have made his coat go like this!? Before this he had the most amazing shiny coat No scurf at all! He feels great though (working Adv Medium).

Has this happened to anyone else's horse?

No reaction from my 40 year old pony except a very shiny coat and he actually put on weight last week when I upped the amount he has due to the cold weather. Daughters TB doing well and gat and shiny too. Love the stuff!

I've only ever known linseed give a glossy coat. Maybe its not the linseed at fault though but something that they were getting from the Equijewel that they aren't anymore?
