A few weeks ago I changed my horse's feed from Equi-Jewel to Micronized Linseed and now his coat is dull and very scurfy. Could this be the Linseed, as nothing else has been changed?? I have ordered more Equi-Jewel now as I can't think of anything that would have made his coat go like this!? Before this he had the most amazing shiny coat :( No scurf at all! He feels great though (working Adv Medium).

Has this happened to anyone else's horse?

No reaction from my 40 year old pony except a very shiny coat and he actually put on weight last week when I upped the amount he has due to the cold weather. Daughters TB doing well and gat and shiny too. Love the stuff!

I've only ever known linseed give a glossy coat. Maybe its not the linseed at fault though but something that they were getting from the Equijewel that they aren't anymore?
