Microvet machine for tendon repair (also in Vet)

Erm.....I'm not too sure about Microvet machine, is it a laser machine?? A little portable one that the vets have? If so, I didn't think much of it - but I'm talking 20yrs ago!!

Sent my little games pony to a specialist for laser treatment by an expert & she came back sound - she lived until she was 30+ and never had any further lameness.

blimin amazing -my horse had a suspensory injury two years ago -unfortunatly i didnt know anything about the machine then but he started to get a build up of scar tissue so tried it on him and happy to say -scar tissue has visably reduced!! the case studies seem encouraging on the website and to be honest if I had known about this machine back then i would have jumped at using it! http://www.microvet.co.uk/ check out the link -i am not a scientist but it makes sense and its electrical currents as oppose to laser but i dont really understand how i works -all i know is that it has worked for my horse and I will def use it if i ever have tendon problems -also the bloke who runs it is really helpful and happy to answer questions

I have just used the microvet on my knee where I have had an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. The swelling reduced very rapidly and hence mobility was enhanced. I was very impressed and my surgeon could not believe the movement I had in it and the lack of swelling after only 2 weeks. Would highly recommend to anyone. I could feel the difference as soon as I put it in on as the stiffness was vastly improved.

friend of mine used one on her jumping horse which had badly injured tendon. Vets could not believe speed of recover and mare now back jumping at high level again
