I got a horse from the feed lot about 1 and a half weeks ago. Since then It's gotten a bit plumper, a hard stomach. Earlier a bit of what looked like milk came out of her udder and is still mildly dripping.

However, she doesn't look bagged up and the vet is treating her for an upper respiratory infection.

Is she pregnant or is something else probably going on? The vet just said to watch her and if she looks is distress call them.

I have no idea what it means to get a horse from the feed lot. Sorry, I'm assuming it means she is a mare who may have been with Stallions or colts??

There are lots of 'fat or in foal' threads on here where the posters have been able to provide images of the udder and tummy. Take a quick look at those posts and the advice and see if you can get some clear helpful images of your mare.

I'm assuming vet didn't do any sort of pregnancy testing or put a hand inside?

I'm guessing the poster is North American and the feed lot was a pen for horses being sent to slaughter.
