I think I will need to get a new saddle for Rudy, as the one we have is not quite right. Suits me quite well, but its a little on the long side for him.
Its a Kieffer Garmisch.
Rudy is a KWPN, chestnut in my sig. I would like a saddle that is more suited to jumping but also something that I could hack in.

Money is not a problem at the minute, I need the saddle to be perfect for him. Think he is going to be one of those horses that needs everything spot on.

Any advice, ideas or recommendations greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I love my Albion K2 jumping saddle and hack in it all the time.

I loved mine as well, it went back to its owner when Jack died and i miss it dearly.

i rode in it for everything, even dressage tests, just felt so comfy

OK lots of people will have found otherwise but in general I've found the modern kieffers fit few horses properly.

Noted. This particular saddle have been adjusted 3 times in as many months.

I certainly think that I am now going to have to change....

Different makes/models/styles tend to suit different horses, so i would advise asking your saddler what he would recomend.

Ideal Impala is wonderfully comfy for horse and rider, will be made to your exact specification. i love my new one, can't recommend highly enough. not ridiculous ££s either. some of the costlier ones aren't necessarily any better, certainly no better for horse's back etc imho.
