Its so mild, 12 degrees here and warm tonight too :) its good for the TB, shes holding weight really well at the moment. However i started feeding my cob a bit and the colt, but having to cut down on their feed as they are both getting podgy
It went cold the other week, 2 degrees at night and last sat night it was ver cold but this week its gone warm again...........still waiting for winter to set in! been plenty of drizzly, miserable dark days but warm tempretures :)

Yes it is warm, my four year old gets really sweaty each time I ride her, even though she has a blanket clip. I have loads of grass and haven't touched the haylage yet.
Still haven't turned the heating on yet either.......wonder if I can hold off til December!!!!???

Clipped my fell last week and put his weatherbeeta no fill on and he was cooking. HAve resorted to his Derby house rain sheet as it's thinner!

Yep, oddly mild for the time of year, my little cob had to be kept in last night, he was a sweaty wee man this morning and that was with no rug on! My old man IDXTB is out with only a LW on or if its dry, naked!! :-o

Mine are all still out, they are rugged and have shelters and I feed and put hay out but until the paddocks get too muddy or it gets too cold then they shall stay out at night.

Two are fully clipped and only in 200g combo rugs and are bordering on too warm? How bizarre in November to be poo picking in a tee shirt still.

Good for me and the horses seem happy so no complaints here!

Yes, my clipped mare is still only in a lightweight turnout! I think the weather forecasters are now saying that the headlines of ' coldest winter on record ' were all hype and that actually we will end up with a reletively mild winter.
