You know the ones used in the army (as seen in horse and hound last week) like the one Joey had in warhorse!!

Can you buy them?? They are such a great idea, you can tie your horse up with its bridle on!

Lol glad you know what a beadcollar is!! HEADCOLLAR!!! I have been looking on ebay, nothing comes up under military, what should I be looking under! X

Yes its ok I used google translate haha.

um, pretty sure ours have been under military but cant be sure. I will have a try too and see what I can see. Also got to bear in mind there might not be any on there right now :)

All the military bridles are made to measure for each individual horse and are made by the sadlers. Maybe try getting one made for your horse instead.

probably wouldnt cost that much to make.

Ive got a few sizes and they are really nice quality and substance. A couple have never even been used they were just in army stores and then sold off!

I can tie both mine up with a "bridle" on :D

Please can some of you lovely people PM me? I'm looking for a full size one, can't find one anywhere!

Try Performance Equestrian or Plas Equestrian. Often endurance riders have headcollar bridles, so when they come into vetgates (vet checks on course) they can quickly remove the bit leaving the headcollar part on the horse which is far morse comfy for it & helps the horse relax as he knows he is in a 'rest phase'. When the vet gate is over, bit goes back on, horse knows he is back in 'work phase'. There are lots of different types of bridles, some (like Plas) will make them in leather. They are usually synthetic (as primarily made for endurance market), in a wide range of colours (I recently bought a neon blue one, also have two white ones).
