I bought a tub of milk thistle seed powder but my horse will not touch it regardless what i mix it with so was wondering if anyone has had similar issues and if so did you try other types of milk thistle and which one was the most palatable? Thanks in advance.

I think it is all much the same/that aren't other types. Mine is really fussy, he does however eat milk thistle and most other things I need to throw at him in agrobs chaff/hay cobs. However (as he is in somerset) there still aren't any suppliers locally I think.
I have previously added mint, apple cider vinegar etc too though.

Thanks for replies, don't suppose either of you know what the liquid one is like? I tried to just put a tiny bit of the powder in my hand with sugar beet and he point blank refused to eat it, very unusual for him!
Just don't fancy wasting money on different ones that he won't eat!

I bought Milk Thistle seed powder and the bucket was tipped up each and every time, his liver is not damaged but bloods were showing his liver was under stress (If that's what you call it), he had a few minor symptoms I was not happy about

I give him the detox (below link) and all the symptoms have stopped, I syringe it in and he loves it, he will be blood tested again shortly but until then he is staying on it, this is no plug for this product as there are many out there which are probably equally as good, its just once I find something I know they like I stick with it
