Seeds can go straight through them and germinate so I’ve only ever used ground. I bought my last batch from Premier Performance at Windsor. As I am on ironstone soil and one has EMS I like to feed it all the time, the bag lasted ages for two of them and was £22. In the past I have used more expensive concentrated powder but didn’t find it any different to the PP batch.

I have bought seeds as they were cheaper ( non horsey company that sold both) but I ground in a coffee grinder before feeding.

Also fed the concentrate from Equicure which was useful for a fussy horse. Lasted longer so didn't work out any more expensive

Only one I didn't get on with was the D and H which is the whole plant and you had to feed so much it got left.
