MILK!!!!!!!!!

Don't ask how,,, but today as i was brushing my mare....(this sound sick) her tets looked sore so i attacked them with a soft body brush and noticed them squirting milk....? :O Major panic!!! I've had her for 2yrs so she defo not pregnant !! WHATS HAPPENING!!!! HELP!!!

could be phantom pregnancy....although.........my mare when bought was 'not in foal' 4 months later same as you touched and milk came out £55 pregnancy test later came back deffo in foal and she had the foal in the july! ask your vet to check her over, my aunts horse had a phantom pregnancy every year after she lost a foal before she bought her. is there any chance shes turned out with a 'rig' or stallions close by that could have got out of there field??

dont panic!! my mare produces milk in the summer, spoken to vet and hes been out, can be to do with loads of things, clover in grass, things like that!!!! phone vet up if your worried and talk to them!!

I agree, could be a phantom pregnancy. Especially if she hasnt been running about with any stallions. How long have you owned her for?
