as title really, the tummy bug has hit him really hard, he started passing blood last night and was kept in at vets this morning Vibes please once again for the most expensive dog on the planet
Poor little Milo He is really having the worst luck lately isn't he! Fingers crossed he is feeling better soon x
Probably not relevant but when i had food poisoning years ago I was very sensitive to any little tummy bug for months afterwards and the only thing that really got me back to normal was those Actimel yoghurt drinks. I've given them to my dogs occasionally and while I can't prove they did any good they certainly can't do any harm.
Oh no V I am so sorry. I take everything back about him being a drama queen! I didn't mean it little man. Me and mine have everything crossed for him. Hope he's home again soon. J x
Thanks guys, hes apparently picked up a little today but nowhere near his usual self (as they know him pretty well down there I shall trust them on that!) He's got to stay in tonight. Hopefully they let him home tommorrow
Hes much brighter and will likely be allowed home later today. Tilly however needs to go in now as she has taken a turn for the worse too! My hopes of going to crufts with madam tomorrow are fast disappearing!
its got to be the fact that they both went through the chocolate episode not so long ago, I guess perhaps their guts are still a bit compromised from that as it barely touched the other two they literally only had slightly loose poos for a few days.
I have someone to dog sit them all day tomorrow now so can go to crufts still!
Ya cheeky mare...I'll have you know I have borrowed a smaller suit from a friend!
Milos home now and doing well (infact so well I just had to tell him off for hooning ), Tills has picked up a little too though still pretty quiet. Hopefully nobody needs rushing to vet tomorrow while I'm not here! Never mind, I trust the sitter so if they do they do! I'm running around like a blue arsed fly here, so much to do, so little time!
Sorry Vizslak I have only just seen this Very best of luck for Crufts tomorrow, I will keep my fingers tightly crossed for you and Flora, and I hope Milo and Tilly continue to make a good recovery xx
Thanks guys, I'm not hoping for much tomorrow, we havnt really done alot this year and it will probably show! I havnt even bathed the bloomin dog cos I have been so flat out the last 2 days with the poorly dogs I havnt had chance! lol Just having a sit down with a cuppa and some cheese toasties now because I have been on the go all day. I'm not doing too bad, I'm nearly ready for the morning! I have made little chicken and rice meals ready for the poorlys, written all their instructions, washed all the bedding from the back of car that I had put in ready for the morning (feeling rather proud it was the only thing I actually had done!) Tilly spewed on it, so I changed it for clean and then milo pooed on it when I brought him home! LOL so was back to square one! Got bait done, nails clipped, show bag ready, shirt ironed, lunch done (floras and mine) found my passes, medicated the sickos, cleaned the house (house sitter coming, house a state! ) cooked ANOTHER whole chicken, arranged times to meet my friend up there.......the list goes on, I'm knacked! And between everything making tilly drink some electrolyte **** thats a right pain cos she has to drink at 50mls an hour but not all at once, so I have to keep stopping and making her drink a bit more!
