Well what a day yesterday!!
Dressage went really well, got some lovely comments on my dressage sheet and come away with a very pleasing 34.. On to the SJ some of it was small and some was up to height it was meant to be 90 but some of it was smaller than that, but a very spooky course!! Renny was looking at everything!! but jumped fantastic.
Onto the X-C! I have never been in a proper start box so all very exciting stuff !!! And Renny well he was bucking on the spot!! He said 30 seconds and I was having to hold Renny back!! Naughty pony!
The first fence was the box type thing then straight onto another fence straight ahead which jumps you into the field, then over some tyers, then over a hedge type thing, down a drop one stride and a log, hook right over a big up right with a pattern thing on it, then into the next field, and did a spread up right thing then a double of tires, hook right up a small hill, then down a drop, jump a ditch 2 strides over a hanging log.
Then over a flower bed, then a horrid fence which was a big up right on a drop, land 1 stride and out over the other up right.. They took my photo at that fence so god knows what my face was looking like!!
Then hook right, and over a big skinny turn right into the next field, and over this big hedge with a ditch in front of it, straight a head into the water EEK!! Palisade land, down the drop into the water, up the step 1 stride and out over the Palisade the other side..
Then over another hedge with a ditch in front, over another flowerbed type thing, up the MASSIVE steps LOL!! Then over the table into the next field and did another skinny onto home over a another type box thing!
Got 20 times Pens!!! Eeek and I thought I was going quite fast!! Need to kick on for Moreton M! but hey ho I did not know what to expect! that was my first time riding round a course like that.
I would of been second if I had not had the time pens, the girl that was 1st she had a 32 Dressage score and a double clear with 8 time pens.
But got 4th, so really pleased with my result.
I did not know it was going to be over the Pre Novice and Novice at all, I thought it would be over the Intro course as it said Open Intermediate 3ft!
All in all I very pleased, had some good horses in my section as I had to ride in the Open Intermediate which was horses that had over so many points from eventing.
It was really hard for me yesterday as I did it for my dad, and kept telling my self it was for my dad!
He is in hospital at the moment with a Brain Tumor, and its not looking to good at the moment.
So I need Postive Vibes for that please, I have not put a post up as it really upsets me when people are nice!
