We’ve just brought Mim back into work, after a long break babysitting Miri who has been recovering from a tendon injury. She’s rising 8 now and I’ve never jumped her because I’ve been very focused on not putting too much strain on her joints whilst she’s matured. And I haven’t jumped myself for about 10 years!

She’s gone into livery at a local pro eventer’s yard about five minutes down the road from home, and she’s just graduated from lunging to ridden work.

We will slowly incorporate more pole work, and then work up to experimenting with jumping when she’s stronger and fitter.

She is such a little superstar - excuse how fluffy and messy she is.

I thought I’d update here on how the journey goes. I’m hoping to get her out and about this year, at a very basic level of course. She’s already winning hearts at her new yard, the lovely event rider messaged me to tell me how cool my pony was 🤣 proud owner but so much wistfulness that it’s not me on board.
