There's a place that runs alongside the M6 and A5 up in Cannock, Staffs that has two lions and three tigers and its next door to a horse abbatoir. Nice. ☹Stumbled across this map of wild animals being legally kept as pets today - had no idea wild animal ownership was this widespread. Savannah cats I somewhat can understand, and some of the data points look like animals in zoos and farms, but others have dumfounded me. What good reason is there for people owning elephants in Carmarthenshire or capuchin monkeys in Milton Keynes?
Lion tamer banned from using big cats - including three kept near Cannock
Britain’s last lion tamer has been banned from using big cats in his travelling circus.
