One of my horses has been diagnosed with mineralisation of the superficial digital flexor tendon. Swelling appeared below the knee on the back of the tendon so then had it scanned which revealed the mineralisation however he isn't lame.
I'm not aware of this term so wanted to know more about what it means and what treatment can be given.
