Mini me goes hunting.

So at the brave age of 7 mini me got to.make her hunting debut:) the lovely pro eventer at our yard offered to take her as her daughter and mini me are great friends.

The morning was a bit of a panic as had to get jeep jump started and literally had to throw mini me out when we got to yard as I was on a tight time frame as was heading off to watch my 2 horses compete.

Pony was clipped that morning as was super hairy and does sweat up.
I was very nervous for mini me but I need not have worried. She had a total blast was up near hunt master for as long as pony could keep up lol.. She went in the lead group and jumped everything bar couple of fences, did her first ditches and loads of banks. Pony not once got strong and really looked after her the whole way around.

So mini me is now asking when she can go again, think I may now have a little hunter on my hands.

So I'. Glad I let her go as it was exceptionally well run and she was very well looked after.

I love mini me posts. just read this to OH and whilst not horsey he to was very impressed. oh wow what a cracking team mini me and pony are :). Please tell mini me to keep at it as i for one love her adventures :) x
 
Ah thanks, topped a great week.for them as we're working hunter champions the previous day at advanced pony camp show.

As promised, couple of snaps! All purchased & posted with permission..

You can really see how much she enjoyed the day:) So will try to get her out once more this season, then she has a packed few months of Pony Club, Show Jumping U8 League , Working Hunter & spot of showing and in Autumn will crack on with some XC & Hunter trials.... She LOVES getting out & about & does the pony the world of good.

Now to find the time to compete my two lol.

The pony is a cracker! Cannot stress how much she is worth her weight in gold! First time mini me has hunted and pony was up close to the huntmaster for as long as her little legs could keep up. Not ONCE did she Get strong, not many ponies You could trust a 7 yr old hunting off the lead rein!

Wow, she is only 7 :) What a fantastic little rider and super pony. You must be bursting with pride. Well done mini-me ;) and lovely photos!
