Hi there
I just wanted to put this out there for opinions, we have a tiny miniature pony who lives out most of the year but now he is broken to harness he is getting very hot and I would like to clip him, he is super fluffy - his field is sheltered but has no stable or field shelter and there is no option to add one as it is rented, he is only walking distance to my house and he often comes up and stays overnight in the garden - we have a horse trailer which takes 2 15hh easily. Would there be any reason that I could not 'stable' him in the horse trailer overnight in the winter? I mean if we took the middle partition out so he had plenty of space? Is it in a sheltered space next to the house leading into the garden so it would not get blown around in the wind, I just feel that if he is clipped this might be the best way of keeping him warm and dry in the winter with stable rugs, or would he be ok in his field with a thick rug on? I know I could just use the horse box but I have a strange feeling about it and wonder if there is something obvious I am not thinking about... :-/ I should add that where we live, though it gets very rainy and very windy it very fairly even gets a frost in winter let alone deep snow, generally it is typically mild west Cornwall weather x
