Mini Shetland Rugs - Why so expensive??

Have you tried looking on Ebay?

I have a mini shetland and get most of her rugs from there - quite a few well known names and reasonable prices.

Worth a look, maybe?

Yeah, the only prob with CW is they don't do necks and need necks as we clip one of the minis. Robinsons Good :D The only thing i find is that they don't show all there rugs on the website as my dad was passing by the Robinsons massive shop and brought a blue rug with white spots :p but wasn't on website x

Mum recently got a bright green one from Robinsons with bugs on it that wasn't on their website too and it was about £35.
 
I think youll find if you want a really good fitting rug thats the price youll have to pay im affraid. You can get cheaper rugs but they never usually fit on the neck and are usually no good :(

Those from Robinsons are good however but they usually dont come with neck covers and are usually only brought out when there is a sale on :(

Yeah i know what you mean but would be very expensive buying 3 rugs at £60 each :eek: I think i will save money up and treat them to some good rugs!! x
 
there relively expensive compared to their size as they need all the same fittings and labour as it would to make a large rug only the amount of fabric is smaller hich is relitively cheap. Go on a web site and cost the fiitings, webbing you will soon see why.

Yeah true, but some website do just as good quality rugs for £30, so i think it depends where you buy from x

Yep, the price they charge is un-believable sometimes like one of my minis has sweetitch so was thinking of buying sweetitch rug found out horses were about £130 so thought minis would be atleast £70, nope there still £120 :mad: so brought lovely fly rug in the end and still did the same job :p x
 
(I should imagine no-one has mentioned it for a reason) - but i have heard of people buying Dog Rugs instead.

Ive never had anything smaller than 14hh so dont have a clue really - just thought it might help.
