Took my cob round a sj course yesterday, first time out at a sj comp. Really pleased with her. No stopping - we had a few down which i hold my hands up to! we did a clear round and 2 classes, kept them small - 2ft and 2ft 3 - there where a few spreads in the 2ft3 making them meatier than what we jump at home. She was much better over the wider fences and picked her feet up, found the smaller jumps more difficult as she just kinds trotted over them knocking them everywhere 
We managed 5th place in the 2ft3 class we didn't rush the time part just concentrated on a good canter and correct strides. She fell on the correct lead everytime.
So pleased with her
I think we need a few lessons as i knew it was my doing as she was waiting for me to tell her when to take off and i got in too deep on some and a bit fast causing flat jumping. Am not very experienced with jumping, i really prefer flatwork but i do enjoy it and want to improve and she seems to love it
