I rescued a miniature shetland colt a week ago. He was bought as a lawnmower and for the non horsey owners daughter to ride. The little chap she told me was 2 years old... Had the dentist out this evening for carson and got her to take a look at the little guy.She thinks he is a yearling, 18 months tops. So bearing that in mind along with the fact that he is only 30 inches tall do i need to be feeding him some sort of youngstock mix ? been giving him a small scoop of happyhoof once a day as condition wise he isn't to bad but obviously i don't want him to get fat but i do want him to have all the nutrients etc that he needs and hasn't been getting in his life so far. There are photos of him in the gallery if anyone wants to see him. Thanks in advance
