miniature shettie question

What are they usually like? like will they get on with other shetlands easily?
We've got a little guy called Merrily staying at Mossburn for two weeks and hopefully he's went in with our other two shetlands.
i'm just wondering if they'll have been getting along. Tommy doesn't like people much (not that you can blame him becuase the people who had him before we rescued him locked him in a shed and hardly ever fed or watered him because he was "difficult"

) and Breezer is a right character! she has that "cows legs" thingy (i can't remember what it actually called) so she walks funny. she has major attitude and i'm just wondering if little Merrily will be inclined to fight with her or just settle in nicely?

They should get on together i worked at a shetty stud and she had mini shets 2 and there were out with each other no probs at all so im sure it will be ok

We have 5 shetties at my yard- 2 standard and 3 mini. All get on like a house on fire. Jethro joined the other 4 in October and was fine with them. It depends on Merrily's character though, Jethro is very friendly and doesnt seem to be a threat to the other horses (the 2 mares who are very posseive of their food will let him share theirs).

I would suggest intoducing Merrily to each of yours seperately if possible first, then let them all out together. hopefully they should all get on.

I have two minis and they get on fine with all the horses on the yard. They are actually quite popular with the other horses and ponies.

I had a mini and he got on fine with the others, mares and geldings alike. Down the lane from me there is a mini sheltland farm ( about 30

) they are in large groups and all seem to grt on fine.

silly girl got the name woring when she told me - he's called Merlin

went to see him otday and he is the sweetest little dude ever! but my phone is being a pain and won't send the pics!

i'll get them up as soon as possible.
he's getting on ok with the other two but Breezer is really bossy with him although we expected as much!
