Minor cuts and scrapes

My boy has a tendency to injure himself in every way possible (nearly gouged his eye out on a branch, cut his nose open reaching under a gate for grass leaving one hell of a scar, got stuck on a gate when we took his friend away for 15 minutes and many more). He currently has 4 minor cuts. One on nose, one on lip, one in between front legs and one on shin. None of them seem to cause him bother. What should I put on them to keep them clean? I just need something to keep the flies of them and we're arena xc schooling tomorrow so would like something to keep the sand off. Thanks in advance!

Aluspray is good for keeping flies off, not sure about using it on the face. I use flamazine cream on minor cuts.

Silver spray (Aluspray or similar) is great for sealing over the wound and keeping it clean and covered whilst it heals.

Flamazine cream and silver spray do the same job basically as the main useful ingredient is silver. The spray is better for minor flesh wounds. The cream for deeper ones where you can rub it in.

You can only get the cream from vets.

I usually use hydrogen at 3%. Works fine and cleans nicely, especially the bloodstains on the white horse.
