As some of you will know about 18 months ago we had the devastating news that our just turned 5 year old mare had an old injury from racing that was putting her in some pain and that the only option was to retire her and keep her on danilon. After lots of nursing and experimenting over the months we found a joint supplement that really helped alongside the danilon and we were able to start light ridden work with her - as she improved we were able to do everything with her, she was jumping amazingly and was sound on the danilon. (We had regular vet check ups)
Last month I decided that for the next vet visit i would leave her off the danilon for a week before so that the vet could see what was really going on. Much to my surprise the vet said that she was completely sound and he would be a lot more than happy at the result
He told us to try her without the danilon and see how she gets on.
Here is a video of me riding her for the first time in a couple of weeks now that she is completely clean of danilon (on her 7th birthday!), I am ecstatic with her she is 1 in a million!!

Please excuse her bolting attempt, that pelham is a god send.
