My boy is a complete wreck on his own, away from his 2 buddies. sometimes they are away at shows and he is on his own. We can't leave him in the field as he jumps out
(everytime)

A couple of people have suggested putting mirrors in his stable?

Surely they don't mean glass ones do they ??

Anyone know where you can get them from? how much ?

I think you can get non-glass mirrors from some garden centres. I seem to recall reading a thread on it ages ago and this being suggested as they are so much cheaper and of course won`t break.

the plastic ones are obviously the safest. 1 of my mares belted one with her back feet and it shattered everywhere but at least it wasn't as sharp as glass would have been...
if you google stable mirrors, or look on ebay, you should be able to find them reasonably... about £20 or so iirc.
leaving the radio on for 'company' might help him too.

Dont know where you can get one from, however a horse at work that doesnt like being alone has one in his stable. He does nothing but stare at it. In fact im sure he would rather stay in staring at himself in the mirror then go out in the field with everyone else!!
